We had a most delightful stay at Hotel Azzi. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the customer service was very good, the location was great and I was happy they offered free WIFI. We were very pleased with their breakfast, too, which was a blend of Italian classics and American favorites. A great value for the price. I saved their brochure because when I come to Florence again, I will stay here.

I have stayed in this hotel with my wife. What to say? Amasing place, bohemian atmosphere, nice staff. There is a library, where you can consult many books. The breakfast is various, with fresh croissants, eggs, ham, cheese, cereals, yogurt. The rooms are clean, with antique furniture. We had a hydromassage shower in the room.
In the evening the owner Valentino offered us a glass of prosecco with olives and nuts and the receptionist Marina sang some beautiful songs with a piano. She is an opera singer and we enjoyed the evening very much. Thanks also to Sara and Chiara - the other two recepionists. The girls suggested us 2 places where to go to eat: La gratella in via Guelfa and La galleria in via Guicciardini. We had a great dinner in both places.
Three friends and I had been staying in a palazzo across the bridge, and 2 of them were heading to a new place just outside Florence, while the other and I had to decide whether to spend the last night in Pisa before our flight or in Florence. As luck would have it, the receptionist at the palazzo recommended Hotel Azzi and phoned for us to book a room. As soon as we wlked into reception, and saw all the books and knick-knacks, I was so glad we decided to stay in Florence. Then seeing the breakfast room flooded with light, and how helpful the reception staff were. Outside our room, church bells were tolling. I'm a sucker for atmosphere! Well, I could easily have stayed for a lot longer. A real home from home. Definitely the place for people who appreciate clean wooden furniture and an eclectic vibe. I loved Florence for the short time I was there, and would certainly return to the Azzi.
